Looks similar to my Superbeta SL-300, tho from what I’ve seen there’s nothing special about the SL-300 and pretty much has no parts online and barely any documentation anywhere. $200 on a vcr that will go out and probably have no way of fixing it- No, if you look up parts for it you’ll get results for the SL-HF300 which is not at all the same vcr. There might be other models similar to the 300 that might have the same or similar parts but I doubt it

I had almost the same one at the time (well; an Amstrad 3086 (8086) with 30MB hard drive): ok Windows 3 was running... theoretically; but it was very slow, almost impossible to launch any other program than those installed with Windows (there were very few of them anyway) You needed a 286 to run Windows 3 or 3.1 correctly (3.1 impossible on 8086) So we mainly launched games or dos programs. but for individuals; Windows was an operating system like any other (gen, etc.) and it was especially with the 286 and Windows 3.1 that Windows established itself (and of course Windows 95 with the 486 and Pentium)

I had one of those with MS-Dos Shell, and played Links, F15, Commander Keen 4, Prince of Persia and Lemmings. I was like 5 years old at the time and those guillotine blades in PoP scared the shit out of me.

I bought a few 180 cassettes in the 80's, but the tape was so thin it would break or stretch easily.
